SYSTEM PERFORMANCE FUNDAMENTALS SR184
At the completion of this course, the student will be able to define
key performance concepts like Response Time, Transaction Turnaround
Time, Bottlenecks and how they influence system performance. In
addition, the student will be able to describe the importance of
standard benchmarks like TPC-A and their use as a competitive
advantage.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
o Define key performance terms.
o Identify factors which determine system performance and influence
the users' perception.
o Identify methods used when comparing the system performance of
computer systems by HP and its competitors.
o Identify the resources that can help eliminate performance-
related sales impediments.
